28th Annual Toy Run
December 1, 2007
The night before the Toy Run I was hearing a lot of loud moaning and groaning about lousy weather putting a big damper on the annual ride across town to bring toys to those in need for Christmas this year. The forecast was gloomy and predictions of snow and cold were everywhere. Despite all that, the morning of the Toy Run turned out to be really the best weather that I have seen for this event. More than five hundred bikers made the event notable and one of the best ever. As I stood along the roadway at the top of the hill taking pictures of the procession of motorcyclists I was struck by the sight and sound of this great event.
This event demonstrates the goodness and caring nature of the majority of the motorcycle culture that we have in this valley. Congratulations to all of you who participated in any way toward making this Toy Run one of the best ever. Happy Holidays!
