27th Annual Toy Run
December 2, 2006
Saturday morning was a beautiful day in the Grand Valley and despite the near sub-zero temperatures more than 500 leather clad bikers riding everything from rice rockets to full dress trikes showed up at the Harley Dealership to register for the Toy Run. A festive spirit filled the air and as always the mood was boisterous, happy, and upbeat. It is a warm feeling that fills the heart at the sight of all these leather clad characters riding motorcycles carrying toys to insure that underprivileged kids will have a good Christmas this year. I have had the pleasure of getting to know a number of these characters that make up the brotherhood of motorcyclists and it is a privilege and an honor to be a part of them. They have big hearts and are at their core, generous, caring individuals and demonstrate it with action. I am proud of all of you for all you do for others.
